SquareX has developed a tool called "Browser Detection and Response" (BDR). This tool can turn any regular web browser into a secure browser that meets the needs of large companies, providing security without making the browser complex or difficult to manage.

SquareX states that its browser extension offers protection against various threats, such as harmful browser extensions, phishing attacks, unauthorized AI data access, and internal threats. It does this within the browser itself, helping to protect companies while ensuring users can still browse easily.

Vivek Ramachandran, the CEO of SquareX, mentioned, "Browsers are now important points of attack, but many organizations don't pay enough attention to them. Many security solutions ask users to choose between being secure and having an easy-to-use browser. With SquareX, we offer strong security without changing how users browse."

Another supporter, Peak XV Partners (formerly known as Sequoia Capital SEA), also contributed to this round of funding.
